Where it started

Z Town was founded by brothers Hasen and Adam Zreika, built on a shared passion for food, family and the belief that great things are created through hard work, patience and consistency.

Long before Z Town opened, food and small business were already part of everyday life. Growing up around family-run fish and chip shops, Hasen and Adam saw first-hand what it meant to serve customers properly, work long hours and build something from the ground up. Those early lessons laid the foundation for what Z Town would eventually become.

Building the Idea

Before Z Town, Hasen worked as a carpenter and Adam worked at Hyundai. Although their careers were different, they shared the same goal: to build something of their own and create a business they genuinely believed in.

That idea started at home. Late nights were spent testing ingredients, refining menu ideas and working through countless combinations until every burger, sauce and flavour felt right. The goal was never to open just another burger shop. It was to create food they could stand behind with confidence and serve with pride.

Opening Z Town

After months of planning and product development, Z Town officially opened on 6 January 2023. The business began from a trailer, where the brand first took shape and where its standards were set. The early days demanded patience. There were quiet nights, long shifts and constant pressure, but the focus never changed: keep improving, stay consistent and back the product.

Built Through Sacrifice

Like many small businesses, Z Town was built through sacrifice. Hasen and Adam left secure jobs and committed fully to the business. Long weeks became the norm, and much of the first two years was spent doing whatever was required to keep moving forward. Behind the scenes, they handled every part of the operation themselves — from cooking and prep to cleaning, ordering and customer service. The workload was heavy, but it shaped the standards, discipline and attention to detail that still define Z Town today.

What Z Town Stands For

The name Z Town comes from the family name, Zreika. The “Z” represents the family behind the brand, while “Town” reflects the sense of community that has always been central to it.

From the beginning, Z Town was built to be more than a place to eat. It was created to bring people together over quality food in a space that feels welcoming, familiar and consistent — whether it is someone’s first visit or their hundredth.

The Food Standard

Quality has always been at the centre of every decision made at Z Town. Menu items are developed carefully, tested thoroughly and only added when they meet the standard the team expects of the brand.

That commitment continues to shape the way Z Town operates today. The focus is not simply on growth, but on protecting the quality, consistency and customer experience that built the business in the first place.

Looking Ahead

The long-term vision for Z Town is ambitious. There are plans for growth, more stores and a much bigger future ahead. However, growth will never come at the expense of quality.

No matter how far Z Town goes, the goal remains the same: serve exceptional food, look after customers and stay true to the values that built the business from day one — family, quality and community.
